Celebrating Trees With the Arbor Day Foundation

The Arbor Day Foundation said it best – “Trees Are Simply Amazing. They clean air and water, slow climate change, ease poverty and hunger, prevent species loss, and feed the human soul. All we need to do is plant and care for them.”

Caring about our communities and environment is one of our core values at Cabinets.com and thus, we have always played an active role in conserving and growing our natural resources. To give back in a meaningful way, Cabinets.com partners with the Arbor Day Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to "inspire people to plant, nurture and celebrate trees".

By partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation, Cabinets.com has been part of a worldwide movement to improve water and air quality, slow climate change, and reduce poverty by planting trees. Our partnership allows us to plant 15,000 trees each year in our nation's forests. Last year, we planted 15,000 trees in Goethe State Forest, located in Levy County, Florida. Goethe, a 53,587-acre state forest is home to the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker and many other rare animal species. This year, Cabinets.com plans to host a tree planting event in Tampa in October to make a positive impact right here in our local community.
