Trending Painted Finishes for Kitchen Cabinets

Updated on: August 01, 2022

Painted cabinets have been all the rage for a few years, with white being the top choice and gray coming in at second. Now, cabinet companies (including us!) are getting creative and adding more colors to the painted cabinet lineup.

Here at Cabinets.com, we have recently added 3 new painted finishes to our Assembled cabinet line, and all of them are stunners that will make a statement in any space!

The first new painted cabinet we have introduced is "Naval", a rich navy blue that would take a kitchen or bathroom to a whole new level of style and sophistication. Navy is such a wonderful color to work with because it's a neutral at heart. Our "Naval" cabinet color pairs well with white, gray, most wood tones, and silver finishes, as well as brass.

Our next new cabinet color introduction is "Haze". This is a beautiful blue-green shade that is soothing, yet bright enough to cheer up a room. "Haze" looks wonderful in coastal-inspired homes, with its soft, water-like coloring. It looks great paired up with white painted cabinets, combining two popular design choices in kitchens these days: mixing finishes in a space and painted cabinetry.

Our Haze cabinet color used in a kitchen island.

The final new color introduction is the "Iron" painted cabinet finish. It's a luxurious dark gray, almost black in color. This finish is unique and so on-point with today's current home design trends. “Iron” would fit right in at a bachelor pad paired with darker, moodier colors, but could also look great in a family home with bright white countertops and antique nickel hardware.
