Displaying Glassware and China in Your Kitchen

Many people have special china and glassware that they want to have prominently displayed in their kitchen rather than being hidden out of sight. Having these items on display can add a nice, decorative touch to your space as well. There are a few different ways you can display your treasures, depending on your space available and design style.

Glass-Front Cabinets

Glass-front cabinets are a very popular way to display your glassware and china. This is a great option no matter how much space you have. We have designed kitchens with one or two glass cabinet displays and others that take up a whole bank of cabinets. There are a variety of glass inserts available in different styles, from clear to seeded to etched with designs, that will match the style of your kitchen. You can also add lighting inside of the cabinets so the items are able to really stand out.

Stemware Holders

Another way to display your glassware, more specifically your wine glasses and martini glasses, is to add stemware racks to the bottom of your upper cabinets. We have different widths available depending on the size of your upper cabinets and available in a variety of finishes. The stemware rack would also look great paired below a glass front cabinet or placed below a wine rack.

Open shelving is quickly becoming a popular way to display glassware and china in the kitchen. Open shelving is an inexpensive option and offers a clean, modern touch. They are a great choice for those who want their glassware out in the open and easily accessible. Open shelving also forces you to keep your items neat and organized since there are no doors for them to hide behind. This is a great look for those who want to add a modern and open feel to their display cabinets.
