Magazines, junk mail, bills and birthday cards…sometimes it seems like there’s
no end to the amount of mail that comes in—or to the mountainous piles that
result. Include a mail station near your kitchen, office or foyer to keep mail
sorting (and other tasks like bill paying) in order.
Consider these cabinet uses:
-
Use a pullout trash system for
recycling and junk mail.
-
Incorporate a cubby for each
member of your family (and possibly one for bills and urgent material) into
your design for sorting mail.
-
Include a cabinet to store
phone and address books
-
To neatly tuck your cell phone
out of sight but keep it accessible, install an electrical outlet in a
cabinet for recharging and storage.
