Protect your investment by knowing how to care for your cabinets.
Prepare
You may not think to take protective steps before you’ve even begun to
enjoy your new cabinets, but a few minutes of collecting phone numbers and
extra parts can prevent headaches down the road.
You’ll be in great shape if you take care of the following:
Contact Info
Keep a “Cabinets” folder in a safe and easy to remember place. Store the
following information:
-
Warranty
-
Manufacturer customer service
contact info
-
Contact info of the companies
you worked with for design and/or installation
-
Sales receipts to prove you
purchased the cabinets
Extras
It never hurts to have a back-up. You may want to request extra hinges and
order an additional pull or knob, in the event that one is damaged later and
the style has been discontinued.
